WITH CAPABILITY OF REMOVING REJECTED PARTS AND ADDING ACCEPTABLE ONES
- An X-Y axis robot is used to move cameras, thereby continuously inspecting each of the workpieces arrayed on the tray.
- A color camera and a high-resolution monochrome camera are used in combination so that even a very small flaw or stain can be detected accurately.
- After all the workpieces have been inspected based on their images, the rejected ones are removed from the tray and acceptable ones are added automatically.
- A maximum of 100 different kinds of workpieces can be specified.

- The workpieces arrayed on the tray are continuously inspected at high speed by the combination of a color camera with a high-resolution monochrome camera.
The rejected workpieces are removed and acceptable ones are added automatically.
- Our original software developed for electronic components is used to enable inspections that meet the customer's requirements.

An inspection is rapidly made on the appearance of individual workpieces or circuit boards on the tray.
- Cameras and the tray are moved by the
X-Y axis robot to rapidly and continuously inspect the workpieces
placed on the tray.
- Either the individual workpieces or
circuit boards on the tray can be inspected by changing the tray.
- For the inspection of individual workpieces,
the system can be provided with the mechanisms of discharging any
rejected workpieces, adding acceptable workpieces, and properly orienting workpieces.
- For the inspection of circuit boards, the rejected
ones can be marked as such.
- In order to improve the image inspection capability,
a color camera and a monochrome one, both of which have a large
number of pixels, are used for parallel processing. This enables
even a very small defect or stain to be detected accurately.
- For the increased inspection efficiency,
the system is designed so that image processing and other functions
are carried out in parallel on different stages.

For the inspection of circuit boards, a full range
of steps is carried out up to the marking of rejected ones.
